Hours of Operation

Higher Ground’s open hours: 8:00 am to dusk

Directions

Using GPS, enter 300 Sunset Lake Road, Newfane VT 05362 (since Williamsville is in Newfane township).  From Depot Road in Williamsville, take Sunset Lake Road south up the hill from its start at the single-lane Arch Bridge.  In 1.1 miles, go right at the sign for Higher Ground, or an additional .3 mile to the Manitou entrance and office at the Gatehouse.
 
From Route 9 West Brattleboro, take Sunset Lake Road north 6.4 miles to the turnoff left, .3 mile from the colorful Manitou wooden sign left.
